PAT BOWDEN
After 34 years in medical sales, I had the opportunity to start my 2nd happy career as a travel advisor with Brownell Travel. Wow! What a whole new world and adventure for me! Just when I thought I had been blessed to have traveled this big, beautiful world of ours, I was humbled to learn so much more and add so many places to my own bucket list. My love for travel started in college when I learned to snow ski on a University of Florida weekend trip to NC. Next, I spent two summers in Maine as a camp counselor teaching water skiing and exploring all of New England. Weekend trips included Boston and Salem in MA; Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, and Portland in Maine; the lakes of New Hampshire and parts of Vermont.
My first job in sales brought me to the Caribbean, Palm Springs, and Hawaii, and from there travel became a priority! Living in Florida, it was a treat to snow ski, so we chose a different mountain every spring, hitting the resorts in Colorado, Utah, CA, Idaho and Wyoming. Florida is also the hub of cruising, so my children have been lucky enough to experience multiple cruise lines on both the east and western Caribbean and Mexico. Eventually, we ventured to Europe, exposing our two girls to the beauty of different cultures and languages in Italy, France, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, and Hungary. Then Alaska, Canada, and Hawaii were “celebration” trips for anniversaries and graduations! Recently, I was able to visit South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mauritius. Being on safari was simply remarkable. Call me addicted, but travel feeds my spirit. The memories and all the wonderful people we have met have enriched our lives in such a beautiful way!
Outside of travel, my latest passion is pickleball! I love yoga, Pilates, baking and spending time with my loved ones. Boating, photography and reading also makes me happy!
A friend gave me a framed picture of this saying, “ The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” (Saint Augustine) Since I love to read, that pretty much sums it up for me!

TAYLOR BOWDEN
While I grew up in Florida, my childhood was spent traveling to different corners of the world. From out west for spring skiing, up north for New England summers, and across the pond for a number of foreign exchange programs in Spain, France, and Hungary.
In college, I lived in Spain, adding several other European country stamps to my passport. After graduating from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), I spent a few months in Hawaii, Southeast Asia and back again through Europe. I also spent a month in Africa exploring Kenya, South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, one of my most cherished trips to date.
All these experiences led me to a career in travel. I have been in the industry since 2018, creating numerous trips for families and couples. I love helping our clients bring their trip vision to life. I am able to advise through my personal and professional planning, extensive travels and scouting research.
I love a mix of adventure and wellness, food and culture, and most importantly, the personalized touches we add to each itinerary. I have always been fascinated by life in other places, and I feel travel is our best teacher.
Whether you’re wishing to honeymoon to the Maldives, experience a sundowner on safari, set sail on a river cruise, trek Machu Picchu, or sip on an aperol spritz in the south of France, I look forward to working with you!
When I’m not traveling, I am happiest near the ocean, outside in nature or on my yoga mat. I’m an avid reader, snow skier, photographer and hot yoga teacher/practitioner. I’m obsessed with finding new recipes, home remedies and gardening tips, and always on the lookout for new book recommendations. Most of all, I love spending time with my closest friends and family. My latest passion project is volunteering and fostering dogs at our local dog shelter!
