This is top to bottom trip planning and booking. Before each trip, you’ll get a personalized itinerary that includes all elements of your vacation. This is for those who want a unique experience with touring, professional/private guides, transfers, curated dining recommendations, and personalized suggestions. On average, we spend about 20-40 hours working on a trip from the initial discussion up to the day of departure. For custom planning, Bowden & Co Travel requires an upfront planning fee, which starts at $300 per week of travel, and then prorated for the number of additional days, group size and extent of research. Travel within 30 days of departure is subject to additional fees.

If you are interested in booking ocean or river cruises, we have access to advisor search tools that help narrow down availability for dates of travel and destinations. With our preferred partnerships on all the major cruise lines, we can offer additional amenities such as shipboard credits and prepaid gratuities, in addition to online special promotions. We also handle group and multigenerational family trips. The planning fee is dependent on the number of people, typically starting at $100 per couple. *If pre/post planning is needed, this would fall into the 'Custom Itinerary Design' option.

When clients know where they want to go, and simply want to book a room, we’ll confirm the reservation on their behalf. This ensures they receive our VIP perks and amenities. For example, with any major luxury brand such as the Ritz, Four Seasons, JW Marriott, One & Only, AMAN, Auberge, Hyatt, Hilton, Belmond, etc., you will receive a resort credit (minimum of $100), breakfast for two daily, welcome amenities, priority on room upgrades, early and late check out upon availability, etc. Once rooms are booked, we’ll send suggestions for the area or put you in touch with the concierge who can make your arrangements. *We do not charge a planning fee for this. We understand long weekends and short trips are good for the soul!
