Meet Our Team

After 34 years in medical sales, I had the opportunity to start my second happy career as a travel advisor with Brownell Travel. Wow! What a whole new adventure for me. Just when I thought I had been blessed to have traveled this big, beautiful world, I was humbled to learn so much more and add so many places to my bucket list. 

My love for travel started in college when I learned to snow ski on a University of Florida weekend trip to North Carolina. I then spent two summers in Maine as a camp counselor teaching water skiing and exploring all of New England. My first job in sales brought me to the Caribbean, Palm Springs, and Hawaii, and from there, travel became a priority! 

Living in Florida with my family, we took multiple cruises to the Caribbean & Mexico and escaped the heat to ski in Colorado, Utah, CA, Idaho and Wyoming. Eventually, we ventured all over Europe, exposing our two girls to the beauty of different cultures and languages, and haven’t stopped exploring since. We have journeyed to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Botswana, South Africa, Maldives, and more… Call me addicted, but travel feeds my spirit. The memories and all the wonderful people we have met have enriched our lives in such a beautiful way!

When I am home, my latest passion is pickleball! I love yoga, Pilates, baking, boating, reading, photography, and spending time with my loved ones.

Pat Bowden

I have always been fascinated by life in other places and feel travel is our best teacher.  

While I grew up in Florida, my childhood was spent traveling to different corners of the world. From out west for spring skiing, up north for New England summers, and across the pond for a number of foreign exchange programs in Spain, France, and Hungary, I caught the travel bug early on. 

In college, I lived in Spain, adding several European stamps to my passport. After graduating from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), I spent a few months in Hawaii, Southeast Asia and Africa, one of my most cherished trips to date. 

These experiences led me to a career in travel that started in 2018. I love helping clients bring their trip vision to life. I advise through my personal and professional planning, extensive travels, and scouting research. I always plan a mix of adventure and wellness, food and culture, and most importantly, personal touches we add to each itinerary. 

When I’m not traveling, I am happiest in the sun, near the ocean, or on my yoga mat. I’m an avid reader, snow skier, photographer, and hot yoga teacher/practitioner.  I’m obsessed with finding new recipes, creating Spotify playlists, and always on the lookout for a new book recommendation. Most of all, I love spending time with my closest friends and family.
